Yes. It is true. I live in a Luxury Promaster Conversion Van. You can see for yourself if you don’t believe me. Spoiler Alert: the video is just a few scrolls away.
But you may want to stick around and get into this tea (sips lightly).
What is, luxury?
Me: Hey Alexa … define, luxury!
Alexa: Ok. The definition of luxury is, the state of great comfort and extravagant living.
I believe the term, luxury, has evolved over the years but I’m certain if you put 10 people in a room and ask them that very same question, you’ll get 10 different answers.
So what does that have to do with this van conversion? Well, I’d be one of those 10 people with a different definition of what luxury is. And because my luxury van is probably why you clicked on this link, allow me to shine a little light on the situation.
I, me and myself, define luxury as the unreproducible feeling that one gets when they are experiencing something. It’s the unexpected sequences in life that result in comfort, peace, and happiness. So to me, my van is luxury and I feel it every time I step foot in it. Without further adieu (I’ve always wanted to say that), I present to you my Luxury Van Tour.
My van and its components are great for me. It’s very intentional in the way I had it build – just for me. My advice when it comes to building out a van is to know what you want and why. Then do it! It’d shouldn’t matter if someone else does or doesn’t have this or that in their van – what matters is what you need and what you desire. Because at the end of the day – it’ll be your van. Luxury or not. And no one can take that away from you.
I’m sure there will be things along the way that “I wish I had of” something … but I’ll cross that bridge when I get there. Fix it, if I can. And move on. If not – “did I die, though?” If I did then it wouldn’t matter because I’ll be dead. If I’m still alive then, I still have breath in my lungs to thank God for an amazing life He has granted me, to do the things that I am purposefully, passionate about. Like living in this luxury van, full-time, traveling the world! Life can be as simple as you make it. What are y’all waiting for?
